The 7-year Quilt, Log Cabin Blocks

Piecing together my 7-year quilt

Piecing together my 7-year quilt

Over the long weekend my creativity was a revival of sorts. I’ve had a quilt languishing in the background for years, all the pieces cut and waiting to be sewn into blocks. After reviewing my notes, I got to work!

This log cabin quilt square uses 13 pieces, a bright center and dark vs light on opposite sides.

I now have 110 log cabin eight inch quilt blocks waiting to be sewn into a glorious top sheet!

All the squares laid out before sewing together the top. I think this coloration is called "Sunshine in the window".

Pretty quilt! My mama sewed me a quilt using the log cabin pattern. A keepsake forever treasured! 🙂

I’m taking my time to make sure this one lasts forever or close enough.
