Bacon Cinnamon Rolls

The sweet and salty combo has always been a fav of mine: sea salt chocolate, caramel nut clusters, honey and brie.

I’ve even tried chocolate covered bacon. It was ok. The key is super crispy bacon. And that follows through with these cinnamon rolls too!

  • Dough <– I had pizza dough on hand. Use bread dough to get extra poof in less time.
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted and/or bacon grease
  • 5 tbs Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • Bacon, crispy and crumbled <– I used 4 pieces, I think. There was some nibbling.


  • Thaw dough if frozen. Grease a pan (square, round, cupcake tins – your preference)
  • Roll out dough into a rectangle roughly the size of a cookie sheet.
  • Spread butter/grease over top.
  • Sprinkle with brown sugar & cinnamon. Evenly distribute crumbled bacon over top.
  • Roll up the short way to get a long tube & pinch the edge seam.
  • Cut into roughly 1″ thick disks and place in pan not quite touching.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise until doubled (or you can’t wait any more.)
  • Preheat oven 350 – Bake 25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Eat warm with a smear of canned white frosting!

    These look amazing! Do you have any tips on making the bacon extra crispy?

      Turn the frying pan up and put a lid on it so you don’t smoke out your husband and splatter yourself with grease. 🙂
