I attempted fried croissants over the weekend. And they didn’t turn out the way I had hoped. I can’t stand failure. So here are my ideas for a second attempt.
• Make my own pastry dough. Chill.
• Layer twice with melted butter. Chill to bring all the butter to the same temperature.
• Rise. (will it rise twice?)
• Fry. (and if that is sad, just bake!)
• Butter has too low of a melting point. Margerine?
• Bake vs. Fry
